Flow-e Integration with Kanbanize

Quick Feature Overview:

  1. Send cards from Flow-e into Kanbanize;
  2. Send and Track cards from Flow-e into Kanbanize;
  3. Import Kanbanize initiatives as projects in Flow-e;
  4. Breakdown Kanbanize cards into children cards in Flow-e;
  5. Attach files from Flow-e cards into Kanbanize cards.

1) Send cards from Flow-e into Kanbanize

The use case here is pretty common – you get something in your inbox that’s supposed to be worked on by your team. The feature would allow you to simply send the card to a given board in Kanbanize. From then on, it’s the team who takes care of the card while you receive automatic notifications for all of the updates on that card.

2) Send and Track cards from Flow-e into Kanbanize

The scenario is pretty much the same as the previous one but this time the card remains in your Flow-e workflow. When you track the card in Kanbanize, you will see the status from within your Flow-e workflow.

3) Import Kanbanize initiatives as projects in Flow-e

When you manage multiple projects or initiatives, it may be difficult to focus on the few important things that you truly care about right now. If you want to keep an eye on a certain initiative that lives in Kanbanize but you don’t want to switch tools all the time, you can import the Kanbanize initiative under the projects panel in Flow-e. That’s how you’ll always get the latest status and only intervene if necessary.

4) Breakdown Kanbanize cards into children cards in Flow-e

There are certain scenarios where you need a given person to do something, as part of an initiative, but that person does not work on a Team Kanban board. If that’s the case, then you can breakdown a certain task across one or multiple Flow-e users. Imagine a case where you need to get input from your lawyer but she doesn’t have a Kanbanize account. As long as she has a Flow-e inbox, then it’s possible to engage her and still not lose track of the global status.

5) Attach files from Flow-e cards into Kanbanize cards

If you are a manager, you probably deal with tons of emails every day. There’s this one file that you just want to attach to a card on your team’s board. With the upcoming integration between Flow-e and Kanbanize you will be able to transfer attachments from your emails to any card in Kanbanize.
